Volunteer Resource Page: www.ctcresources.com
Our Volunteer Resource Page is for all Tax Help volunteers. However, be mindful of your certification. Only answer questions within your VITA certification. Do not answer tax questions that are beyond your certification, even if you know the answer. Staying within your certification protects you and the program from liability for errors made in good faith.

Getting On-Site Assistance
You will never be left to fend for yourself at a tax site. There will always be staff on-site who can help you. Additionally, you can turn to fellow volunteers when you have questions or need guidance. As much as possible, we have members of our VLT, our Volunteer Leadership Team, serving throughout the day. They wear a green name badge. This is a select group of experienced volunteers who are there to provide additional guidance to less-experienced volunteers. We're all in this together. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
